This pose can actually be used for any dance genre, although it is pictured here with a ballet dancer. When young children have not yet developed beautiful technique, sometimes we just need to pose them without any dance skills. Let the costume imply that it is a dance photo and shoot for beautiful expression that mom and grandma will love.
My favorite go-to prop is an empty picture frame spray painted gold. I usually bring a couple of frames with me to a shoot for cases like this.
